These black Pyle indoor/outdoor waterproof speakers are excellent for use on boats, decks, patios, or by the pool - anywhere outdoors. They're completely waterproof, thanks to the heavy duty ABS construction. And they're powerful - 500 watts max. A 6.5' aluminum injection cone woofer provides the midbass, while a 1' high compliance Mylar tweeter pushes sweet highs. A capacitor crossover network separates these two channels discretely for a brilliant sound. Connect wires easily and effortlessly using the quick connect speaker terminals. The bass reflex vent boosts the bass response for a deeper, more powerful sound, ultimately delivering a frequency response of 30 Hz to 22 kHz. Mount using the unique spring loaded mounting system. The mesh grills are rustproof and removable. Sold as a pair.

Excellent sounding speakers with good punchy bass,n clean, crisp highs. I installed them in my truck n folks think I have a subwoofer. Good clear sound with no distortion. My amp is only 200 watts n it can get pretty loud. Price is reasonable for an outdoor waterproof speaker set.

I have many pairs of speakers (Sony 3-way vented w/4" woofer, Panasonic 3-way w/3" woofer, Toshiba 3-way w/8" woofer, KLH 3-way tower speakers w/dual 12" woofers) and these Pyle speakers sound just as good as the others. Crisp highs, clear midrange and powerful bass.I am driving these with a Pyle 2x120w mini amp which pairs very nicely and these speakers fill the room. They do not distort when on normal volume yet deliver a full and robust sound.Installation is easy.I would recommend these and I will purchase another pair soon.

This is my third Pyle product in the last couple of years and I am once again very pleased with the "bang-for-the-buck" quality. Take note, this is not a 'high-end' product, so it does not carry that 'high-end' price tag. It is a solid, well-performing speaker set that does exactly what it promises. I like to think of it as a 'high-end' product in disguise and I regularly recommend it to my friends.The speakers are mounted on the back of my garage over my patio. They are paired with my Pyle Pro PSPVC6 Six Zone switch box along with four other speaker sets throughout my house. They provide a clean bright sound with adequately deep bass and a rich frequency response. I am not planning on installing a mosh pit in my back yard and I have no intention of blowing the squirrels out of the trees in woods behind my house, so extremely high volume is not a requirement. For solid delivery of party-style Reggae or just a light background for a small gathering with friends these speakers have you covered.The mounting system is solid stamped steel and more than capable of securely holding the speakers in place. My Pyle Dryver Pro speakers on the back porch have been performing excellently for two years, even after having been taken down and remounted after renovation, so don't be concerned about what some have stated is a light weight mounting system.But wait, there's more---they do indeed appear to be water proof. We have had several storms, including some driving rain, since they were installed and they are performing admirably while I write this review. I was hesitant to mount hem in the downward angle shown in the attached photographs but that is where the best sound projection was, so I took the chance. I couldn't be happier.For someone looking to build a solid system and not have to take out a home equity loan the Pyle line of products is definitely worth considering. This won't be my last purchase.

For sound quality I would give these 4 stars, but for sound, build, and installation quality on a budget...these can't be beat. I put these on my outdoor patio cover and they have held up even in Alabama Thunderstorms.

Bought these for the boat and was just not impressed. I'd say just average but for the money it is a good value. I moved them back to the patio for more of a background sound solution and they work fine there. I bought these because I thought they were a bigger version of some older KLH 5.25 speakers that had great sound and same cabinet design. I think the difference is in the Pyle cabinet which just sounds hollow when you tap the sides. My 5.25s are very solid when you tap the case perhaps giving more of a full sounds and not hollow.

Bought these speakers to pair with the $39 Pyle receiver for use in my 50x16 workshop. I had low expectations. Back in the ‘80’s we used to spend several thousand dollars to get decent sound. For about $135 I filled the room with plenty of clear midrange, surprisingly ok bass and bright but not harsh treble. The mounting brackets have lots of flexible mounting options and come with rubber damping pads. Really impressive for what I spent. Great for a kids room, dorm, office, etc. While there is more than enough volume with the tiny 100w rms receiver indoors, a picky listener might need more outdoors depending on the acoustics.

Using theses as zone 2 outdoor speakers. They are very heavy duty and weather resistant which is great because they are unprotected on stands on our patio. We’re very impressed with the sound quality. They are great for the price!

Op basis van andere reviews waren mijn verwachtingen misschien te hoog. Speakers voldoen maar niet meer dan dat. Bas is redelijk al houdt het niet over. Gaat snel vervormen op hogere volumes. Hangen bij mij buiten en onbeschermd, daar lijken ze echter niet voor bedoelt. De aansluitingen voor de draden zijn niet afgeschermd. De beugels voor het ophangen zijn erg dun en de bevestiging is wat gammel
