I had 2 Amp's, one for the tower speakers and one for the subwoofers. I have wanted to connect the speakers that are in the boat to an Amp also, so when one of mine went out I found this as a replacement. The Amp is about 22" X 12" X 2.5", so fit great where my old ones were mounted. Wiring it was very easy and a quick search of you tube will give you an excellent video on how to adjust it. The sound quality is very good and lets take into consideration that your on a ski boat in the water so volume is what you really need. This Amp does just that, now we will just have to see how long it lasts.

This is the worst marine product ever produced. Pyle should be ashamed twice I purchased this and it’s never lasted more than a week. Don’t waste your money on this useless amp.

2000 watts not more like 1000 but it had the exact specs i needed for my setup so i bought it crossovers worked great it sounded good to the first summer i used it so the next spring i pulled the cover off my boat to clean it up get the dust out of it and get ready for summer so i was jamming away as i cleaned turned it off and went to the river the next day kicked on the radio and i got the dredded protect light checked everything looked good so when i got home pulled the ampout and i can solider some so i thought maybe it was something i could fix now im not to savy on the parts inside the amp but i could see some resistors burt out buy the mosfets and from what ive read that means the mosfets are probly bad also but which ones and why did they go out anyway so what i decided to do was buy anotherone and if something on the board goes out this time ive got some spare parts out the old one plus i didnt know what resistors to get to replace the burt ones but now ive got spare parts so well see how long it lasts this time

I've had Pyle products before (15" subs) in high school and was happy with them, but that was 20 years ago when in high school. I'm always skeptical of off brand electronics, but thought "its only $200, lets give it a whirl. Glad I did. I have the amp running 4 Infinity 6 1/2" reference marine 2 ways and a single Pioneer 12" bridged on channels 5/6. No head unit, using a mini stereo to rca cable to plug in the phone or ipod for simplicity. No clipping with the crossovers dialed in and the gains turned up all the way and actually turned them down some as it was just too damn loud for my 40 year old ears and the bass was making the boat rattle rather excessively. Sound quality seems excellent, especially in the lower frequencies, certainly of better quality than needed in an open bow boat. I would not hesitate to buy again. If I get a failure prematurely, I'll update.

awesome amp. This is being used in our Polaris RZR we have gotten in muddy drenched in water and it still works like a charm. I would definitely purchase this amp again if ever needed. We have 1 10 sub 6 - 6.5 speakers and 2 8 inch tower speakers hooked up to this amp and sound quality is great..

No way this is 2000 watts no matter how they want you to set it up. I replaced a 700 watt amp with this one because of the 6 channels and the sub remote. It overheats and shuts down in like 30 seconds on the lowest volume. I have checked and rechecked and re-rechecked the wiring and even tried different configurations. Still over heating almost instantly. Called customer service and they suggested plugging it all in except for the speakers and hooking them up one-by-one. While its is running with only one speaker hooked up, it still got hot and shut down.Installed my old amp with the same wiring, and it is working great so I know it is not the head unit or the wiring. Hopefully I just received a bad unit and a replacement will fix the problem.

I got this for under 80 dollars BRAND NEW due to a damaged box on amazon warehouse deals. this powers 2x 6.5" Infinity, 2x 6x9 infinity and 1x 10" Polk audio water proof speakers/subs. Very happy with it's performance and power.

just purchased the pyle plmra620. installed it in my 21' ultra custom boat. I have 4- 6 1/2" speakers piggy backing 1-2 channel and 2-5"x10" on channel 3-4. sounds auesome. I have my subs on a different amp. didnt want to overload. had it running all day on a one day lake trip for 6-8 hours. never cut out and did not drain my batts...testing it this weekend for a 3 day trip.. so far this amp does the job..

I was skeptical at first, but the sound is good and I had it for a whole summer on my boat and so far so good ! Paired it with the original JL speakers on my X2 2008. Saved 1k easy !

Congratulations to you Pyle for creating such a great and durable 2000 watt RMS 6 channel marine amplifier. I recently installed my amplifier, I am a car audio technician for 15 year so I have installed over 1000 systems over those fifteen years. I'm just a part time installer now only for people I know, my system consists of a pair of Infinity Kappa 93IX 6" * 9" in the boot 220watt RMS along with a boxed ported JL Audio 12" TW3-D4 W3 400watt RMS, Skar Audio VD-10 D4 10" 500watt RMS boxed ported Subwoofer. In the back door trim a set of Infinity Kappa 6.5" 200watt RMS splits, in the front door trim the same splits along with 5" * 7" JBL 130watt RMS. I have the amplifier running through a PRV 8 Channel audio Dsp, it allows me more audio control with time delay, volume alignment and 32 band equalisation and frequency control as well as distortion eliminating setting presets. I believe that the audio speakers I've used on this build is above average grade so I was very surprised to find that your amplifier which I purchased at a bargain for $80 AUD delivered from USA to me in NSW, Australia with free shipping as I am a Amazon Prime subscriber. The amplifier not only ran the whole set up but running every channel at 2 ohms stable that 2 by 400 watt RMS to channels 1,2, 3 & 4 and 900watt RMS to Channels 5 & 6. The sound clarity was amazing as well as the quality of the sound the amplifier was producing near peak power. The only draw back I came across was that running at such power output the amplifier works very hard and the circuits get really hot, to hot to touch the amplifier. However since adding a set of cooling fans one blowing the other drawing the heat out off the amps internal circuits it improves the performance as well as the longevity of the amplifier so far I have not been able to make the amplifier's protection come on even running at 95% volume from maxing out on the head unit. If you ask me is the amplifier worth it?? My answer would have to be a definite Yes! If you are planning to build something with greater output than what I've built you might want to consider the next size up which offers 8 channels with 3000watt RMS that is the PLMRA 820. Keep up the outstanding work Pyle I'm looking forward to the next generation of Marine style amplifiers you come out with next!! Yours Sincerely HOWARD LAM.
