As affordable basic (low profile) mic stands, these Pyle stands work well, for a very fair price. The base is compact and heavy enough for proper stability, and the height adjustment works well. What I really love using these stands for, however, is as more compact light-stands for wand lights (such as these https://amzn.to/3KWLA0p ) around the house. By using the Pyle mic stands instead of the light tripod stands that come with the lights, I can place the lights in tighter spaces, with less to trip over, and it is definitely an upgrade in stability. Depending on which lights you use, do a quick check to make sure the light's mounting area matches the size of the Pyle, but so far, I've had success with a number of light fitting perfectly, and for those that don't, there are always plenty of adapter options.

Used mic stand for the first time on a gig and the pastic mic clip broke!!! Very cheap clip!!!! I wanted to change my review . The clip did not break it just came apart. Same outcome though I was not able to use it. I did keep the stand and bought a much better mic clip for $5 . I really like the weight of the base so I revised my rating to 4 stars. It would have been 5 stars if they used a better clip!

Not sure what to write here other than this is a solid, sturdy mid stand.

This stand is great, there's literally nothing to complain about other than the insanely fine threading on the bass which can be a bit of a hassle in the first 10 seconds to get screwed in because the black paint has to be gotten past first.Once the stand is screwed together, it's not going to come apart unless you want it to. Very stable, not super heavy but heavy enough to do the job (nobody wants to carry around more than is needed to keep a stand from being tipped over).Much less annoying and cumbersome than big boom stands!

Pyle generally makes good equipment which I'd recommend. However this mic stand is a case of false advertising, as they're now shipping a cheaper product than the one pictured. As another review stated, the base is now thin and light, not the thicker one pictured in the listing. Also the mic clip is not a squeeze clamp as pictured but is just a standard slide-in clamp which comes with any cheap microphone. Additionally, the stand was very difficult to screw into the machined metal base and required some oil and a lot of effort to screw in completely.I'm sure this product will be fine for my home recording purposes so I'll keep it, but the unfortunate business decision to quietly replace parts of it with inferior substitutes is an insult to consumers that needs to be called out.

It does what it's supposed to do, but I was a little surprised to find the only way to adjust the angle of the microphone holder is via a Phillips head screwdriver. You have to crank it down to hold the microphone in place, not all that great when you want/need to adjust the angle. A very obvious design flaw that could have been fixed with a butterfly type bolt that allows for hand tightening. I may retrofit it.

I run a recording studio and a live production company.Gone are the days of tripod-stands hogging up all the space. This stand is sturdy and heavy enough to be quite stable. So, if KM or Atlas is just too expensive (which they definately are)Then these Pyle stands are exactly what you're looking for.

De muy buena calidad, quizá la pinza para esmicrófono es muy básica pero funcional.
