Very pleased with the quality of this banjo. It’s a great beginner banjo to learn blue grass. Good resonator. Tuner works great. I love all the extras that come with it like the case!!!

I have to say, the woodwork is appealing, the neck is playable, and the tone is pretty amazing. A banjo is not like a guitar, so you can't judge it the same way. This one is sensitive and dynamic. The chrome hardware is maybe a tad cheap-feeling, but it can be basically tightened up. The gig bag is quite sturdy. And the included tuner is a nice little number, better than my Snarks. The instrument plays well, if you have the fingers for it. I play bare-fingered, but you can buy the finger picks for these. I'd call this a great value for a starter. I have been a guitarist for nearly 50 years and I feel like I get to learn something new again. Quite enjoying my Pyle banjo kit!

This banjo arrived at my home well packaged and undamaged. The construction is solid, the moveable bridge is seated perfectly beneath the strings, as the intonation is spot on. The only cheap feel to this are the strap clips. They are prone to pry apart, allowing the strap hooks to slip off. The included strap is something they shouldn’t have even bothered with. It’s junk. But as far as playability and resonance and sustain are concerned, this is a solid performer. It’s great for beginners. Learn to play on this, then spend more money next time on a higher quality one.ONE WORD OF WARNING: This instrument comes with no warranty. They will give you a two-year warranty if you post a review and then tag them on social media. For the price, I'll take my chances. I don't appreciate such gimmicks.Buy metal finger picks. The included ones are plastic, which is fine for the thumb pick, but not for the fingers. To bring out the brightness of the instrument, you need metal finger picks.A worthwhile purchase for its intended purpose. This banjo gets knocked by online reviewers, but I suppose like anything there can always be a bad one in the batch. Mine is a keeper.

This is a pretty nice banjo well made looks nice the only problem is I can't play any instrument to save my life and YouTube videos suck so bad when your trying to learn it's not worth the time or effort but I do like what I got so there is that

Beautiful looking and sounding banjo! Well worth the money and all the items that come with it are great! The tuner works well. I have never played a string instrument before, but this one has been pretty easy to learn so far!

This banjo has a great sound. I bought it as a beginner banjo player. It comes with a resonator and a geared 5th string which is rare on low cost beginner banjo's. It also came with a tuner, extra set of strings, a wall hanger, a wrench to tighten the head brackets, a wrench to adjust the neck, finger picks (which were way to small for my fingers) and a cleaning cloth. That's a lot for the money. Most of all it is a very decent beginner's banjo that I will enjoy playing for a long time to come!! Highly recommended!!

Estuve por años queriendo comprar un banjo, por fin me decidí y pedí el ‎PBJ140, solo queda decir, que es hermoso, es muy sonoro y ahora solo falta aprender a usarlo.Actualizando. El instrumento viene bien ensamblado, solo hay que afinarlo y listo!Las púas son muy pequeñas y mis dedos nos son grandes.La correa no se ve comoda, no siquiera la instale.Realmente es un instrumento hermoso. Actualizacion20/05/2023. despues de dos semanas de uso empezaron los detalles. La bolsa de transporte se descosió, cosa que no me importa y podría arreglar sin problema. Pero tuve que quitar el resonador y me di cuenta que el cuerpo del instrumento se está despegando, eso no lo puedo arreglar en casa. Se empieza el proceso para reemplazar, me gustó mucho y quiero otro igual.

Es la primera vez que toco un banjo.....tengo experiencia en guitarra y puedo decir que en cuestión de materiales , este instrumento se siente resistente y sólido , con un buen sonido y una bonita estética .Los accesorios son plásticos de mala calidad pero se agradece el detalle..me llegó en perfectas condiciones ...tengo que aprender a ajustarlo pero en general,para alguien que quiere explorar el banjo cómo yo....es una excelente opción .....lo recomiendo

awesome sound easy to tune and beautiful looking instrument im a beginner but it fits me good easy to hold and handle light weight does not take away from sound which is clear notes.
