I put this in an old Lund boat to drive an 8” subwoofer. It does the job well and seems to have plenty of power to drive a larger speaker.

I needed a very low cost 2 channel amp to run a couple of wakeboard tower speakers. This amp is very small, which is perfect for the space I was needing to fit it in. Power output is not incredible, I would be very surprised if this truly puts out 200 watts RMS, but it is sufficient for what I need. The cost makes it worth it. Quality is not superb, but I expected that. I am running two 200 watt RMS speakers with this and the loudness is acceptable. They begin to distort at about 85-90% volume. My gain is about half way up. Most importantly, if this gets wet and ruined, I'm only out $60. That relieves my worries and makes for trouble free fun on the water. If I knew it was safe (ie, if I was putting it somewhere dry like in a car) I would spring for a higher quality amp but this is a good throw away and if I get two seasons out of it I'll be happy.

Does the job for my TTop speakers. I may have put the amp in a bad position and bad speaker wire. Water may have been dripping on the terminals. Significant corrosion and plastic around the terminals are breaking apart. However, the amp is still going strong. I will probably buy a new one and fix the placement. Can't beat the price.

This amp's quality matches the price it's very cheap I wish I kept the box so I can return it . It distorts at 3/4 volume with high quality 100 watt rms polk speakers. If this amp has 100 watt rms per channel it is total noise.

Purchased this amp back in July and it has been working really well for me, I have it pushing 1 10'' sub and it is hooked up to a Boss Marine Stereo 200 watt I believe. 4 speakers and 2 tweeters sounds great, nice and clean soundI would recommend for anyone looking to put a good Marine Amp in a area that could get moisture or wet and won't break the bank this could be the oneSo.. Simple connection, light weight, Nice Clean Look, Adjustable Power output, Great Value,

Probably around 80 to 90 watts rms per channel so 160 to 180 total rms or 400 watt peak. Using it to run 2- 6.5” BOSS marine speakers in a 15’ boat sound great. The fuse is 15 amp so if it draw 13 amp at 12.7 volts it is 165 watt rms divided by 2 channels13 amps at 13.5 volts you will get around175 watts divided by 2 channels

Easy to connect although don’t raise the gain past half cuts off . Gets pretty hot .powered two sets of 6x9 on the seperate channels. When I raised the stereo volume to high and bass would hit the amp would cut out lowered the gain to a little less than half and working ok far. Still makes the 6x9 sound pretty loud .Nice white color of amp

This is the second one of these I've owned. Full disclosure, I completely drowned the other one in a freak accident (it is definitely NOT waterproof or water resistant), but because the reviews were so good, I bought a second one without any hesitation. I put this into a float cooler and WOW! I have this pushing 2x Infinity 6x9 waterproof speakers and it roars to the point where you can't stand in front of it and expect to hear anything except the music, and that was on 2/3 power. The power was consistent and the music was crystal clear. We ran it for about 14 hours and although it got hot inside the cooler, we opened the lid to let it breathe and it cooled right down. We used it three weekends in a row, and it got to the point where the cooler had a reputation for the power sound quality, etc. Fast forward to this past weekend, and although I should have done a sound check before we left the house, we got to the river and.... nothing. Not a peep, not a pop, dead air. I found a screw driver and dug it out and there is no power. I've tested the battery output and it's pushing strong, so the problem is in the amp. I'm going to send it back and hopefully Pyle will graciously say, "my bad" or something to that effect and send me another one. I'll update once I hear back from them.Update: After sending it off to Pyle to get fixed, they sent it back about 7-10 days later with a note indicating they had repaired a diode. I hooked it back up and it appears to be (and sounds) as good as new. Consequently, I've upgraded my review from 2 stars to 3 stars because although the amp runs well. But, I'm not ready to give it more stars because I've paid $101 for a product that started at $58 (you pay for shipping for all repairs which cost $43 total). As with anything, if you make enough of them, you're going to get a lemon every once in a while, so I won't avoid Pyle products per se, but I might go with a different company if they have a better shipping policy for repairing their products that are under warranty.3 Year Update: I've been running this thing in a float cooler and the power and consistency is impressive. The power is clean and the sound roaring out of the Infinity 6x9s keeps the river jumping. Most other people on the river will shut their stereos off because they can't compete with this beast. I'm about to upgrade my river cooler so I need a different amp, and this guy is going into my car to power a sub. I'll update once it finally keels over. And because it's run so well for so long, I'm upgrading my review from 3 stars to 4.

For a 80 buck marine amp this rocks the 2 10inch Pyle Hydra subs in my boat, 2 6.5inch Pyle front speakers running off a 50x4 watt Walmart Dual deck. I wanted a cheap setup in my 1982 ski boat and boy for an 300Buck total investment heads turn on the lake playing Five Finger Death Punch

In the User's Manual it states, right at the top first warning says:-keep the amplifier dry, if it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately. Liquids can contain minerals that corrode electronic circuits. As you can see in the pictures there are plenty of openings for water to get inside and damage the circuits. No IP Rating provided. Paid 15£ extra for delivery and it took 8 days to get it delivered.Apart from that the amplifier has good sound and on bridged mode amazing bass.
