This speaker worked well for an outdoor wedding venue at a local park shelter with over 70 in attendance. Bluetooth connectivity was not used. Pyle wired microphone was used, which worked much better than the wireless microphone. Volume had to be turned to maximum and worked well. Only plugged in power was used. Voice came out clear and consistent. This is a very nice product and a great value! Good job Pyle!

I must say, I am very happy with this speaker and it is doing everything we needed it to do. The bluetooth capability makes it easy to pump music through. The separate sound for the music and mic make karaoke a breeze. And it has a surpassingly long battery life which allows you to take the party on the road! You can not go wrong with this nice little party speaker.

The first thing to note is that the other reviews are correct. You have to -pardon my speech- "eat" the mike to really make it amplify. That said, it's probably the best option if you are looking for a cheap way to command a room. I used it for wedding speeches and didn't have any problems.

Brand new unit. The mic input (bluetooth or direct) blanks out the audio played from USB. Also the unit does not connect to a bluetooth audio source. Called Pyle. They said it was defective. They need to improve on their product testing and quality control. I gave it two stars vs one star since it is a good value for what it "claims" to do.
