Have used this device in my crown vic for over a year. Looks good in my car and the mph display was always accurate. Hasn't given me any issues and the adhesive has stuck to my dashboard and still stuck on.

This is a fine little item but could use some tweaks to make it even more user-friendly. I bought it primarily for the compass feature but you cannot select this option to be the MAIN (= largest font) information on the display. This is very inconvenient because the only option is for the direction to be displayed in TINY print at the lower left or right corners of the display where it's very hard to read. It helps a lot to change the font color to a lighter hue (aqua, white, lime green), but this is still far from ideal.As far as accuracy: the compass direction is spot-on as long as you have enough satellite data. I changed the default setting for the speedometer to NOT add on 3 miles, but now the gadget's speedometer reading doesn't equal my vehicle's reading, so I'll have to mess with that some more.The overall display is VERY small, so do pay attention to the product description (see my photos above for scale in a 2015 Subaru Forester).The gadget is VERY lightweight and the included power cord is VERY long and heavy, so if you use the included power cord without carefully securing the cord to something else in your vehicle, you can expect the gadget to do an erratic interpretive dance all over your vehicle whenever you change lanes, etc.I am fairly happy with this, but I wish that the overall display was larger and that you could select the desired data to be the LARGEST in the display.UPDATE on 02/25/23: I still love this thing and use it all the time. It helped tremendously to add a Velcro strip to the underside of the gadget and a corresponding strip to my dash so that the display is always in the perfect spot and at the perfect angle to easily see it, but the gadget can still be easily removed and stored away when not needed.

It's a nice little gadget that's accurate and easy to use. My only real gripe with it is that the speedometer turns dark red at speeds of 73mph and higher. And there's no setting to turn off the dimming. I live in the Nevada desert, where the sun shines bright, and highway speeds often exceed 73mph. When the green speedometer arbitrarily turns dark red at 73mph, it becomes difficult to see the display.

Works well. Stupid easy to install and set up. Cord is 7' 10" long therefore easily stretches to wherever you want To place it. The unit itself is small which is nice, But the information is displayed and large bright characters. Easy to see even in blazing sunlight. Clear and colorful actually better than the photographs.Response to changes in speed etc quickly. I bought it for use as a compass. It displays the 8 principal compass directions; N NE, S, SW etc. Does not displayed degrees, Or if it does I have not figured that out yet. It responds to changes in directions more quickly and better than my old $60 magnetic compass. No adjustments are necessary to compensate for the magnetic mass of your car. It works on satellites, Not magnets. Just remember that the car must be moving to display direction. I really like it. Comes with a round sticky pad for mounting. SATISFIED

I've had this item for two years now, and I love this little thing! It takes a little practice to manage the buttons, but once you have it the way you want it, it's a gem. I have Honda CRV and I put it on the well right in front of the guages. It's small, so it doesn't comver anything up (not that I could see it anyway) and gives me a nice, big white speedometer.

My car does not have digital speedometer so I got this. It works well and is easy to set up. I do not know if it is the GPS signal the unit or what, but it reads a bit slow, perhaps 2-3 mph.

I bought this mainly for compass but all features is nice. I have had several other HUD units thru out years OBll connected and that is old school..So a GPS is what i wanted! Price was good, reviews very good and brand is at top line. I read directions, no adjustments needed, for my unit..MPh. I plugged in and unit fired up when car started and shut off when car was shut down. I have pluggedinto AUX 12 volt outlet and my car shuts down all AUX power when key off, yours may not..then you will have to program unit to power of timer. So I took a ride and unit performed spot on. Now unit read 2 mph faster than my electronic speedo...I read reviews about this and knew why. The GPS is more accurate than the modern speedo and way more than the mechanical speedo. The DOT SPECS for US cars and trucks is that the speedo can not report a reading less than the displayed MPH..But can display speed no greater than 10% of actual speed..Really!! But anyhow this is a great unit.. Gps reading is more accurate..😉

I had high hopes for this HUD speedometer. It works fantastic for local driving around town, as well as most highway driving as long as you stay under 70 MPH. Wait, what? Yeah, anything over 70 and the MPH (GPS) display changes from whatever color you have it set at to RED. Probably satisfactory for night time driving, but totally unreadable during the day especially when the sun is bright and right in front of you.So you think you can change the settings? No dice. Here is the reply I got back from Pyle:"We apologize this unit doesn't have the option to change the color for "MPH number"The color for MPH will automatically change which means you need to reduce the speed."Save yourself the headache and hassle and look elsewhere. I am considering an Android phone solution.

I bought this mainly for the direction indicator as I had one in my previous car but not in my current car. I like the ability to set the display to speed and direction only so both are easy to see without having to look down. I have only used it for one day but it was easy to set up and once configured, it is accurate.

Nice product.Looks good on my dashboard, doesn't look cheap or 'plasticky'. Works as it should and is reasonably quick picking up satellites. The speed indicator is adjustable, for some reason it is factory set at 107% I brought it down to 100% and it is now accurate.The time can be set to any time zone and the instructions are well written and clear.
