Genius PYREX two liter jug. Rated up to 140 degrees Celsius (well above the boiling point).Fits in my fridge door.I make tea for iced tea in my stovetop percolator pot. So I needed something to pour the boiling tea into - to cool down for ice tea.This is genius. Pyrex glass. Fits in fridge door. Does not absorb flavors.When not using for iced tea - I use to store urine samples for the lab - and it cleans up nicely in between.If you need more capacity - then buy two or four!

Yes that one thing keeping it from perfection is lack of markings for two liters. Has lines in 100ml. Increments but your left to guess to be exact to. 2 Liters.

Needed something to store cold-brewed coffee concentrate, this ended up being perfect! Doesn't react with coffee at all, and the cap is extremely easy to grip and has a surprising amount of heft. A little on the expensive side, but I would imagine this will last me forever.

I've started drinking iced coffee and needed something to put the hot beverage in, later moving the container to the fridge. This thing is a perfect match. I love the action of the cap. A bit expensive, but it was actually difficult to find a suitable container in the grocery store.

This is supposed to be the best of the best when it comes to laboratory glass. I’ve ordered 3 bottles, 2000 ML and 1000 ML and all have had scratches, dings, chips, and/or spitted glass on them where it shouldn’t be present. My 2000 ML media storage bottle has small spots of added/spit glass that’s almost sharp to the touch on the outer surface and the bottom of the bottle has an off centered line of glass circling the bottle where it should be centered with the textured bottom(meant to be there) during the manufacturing process. This has made me question the authenticity of this product. I also question if this bottle would survive being placed in an autoclave. I really needed this bottle, too. I live in a small rural town far from anywhere to purchase this product. It’s too bad I am unable to contact this seller directly to ensure I get an authentic product and it not be damaged. Real bummer.
