I have been a huge fan of the pyrex storage dishes for years. The lids are dishwasher and microwave safe. However, I do believe the more you put them in the dishwasher and microwave the shorter the life of the lid. If you do put it in the microwave, make sure it is not secured to the dish. Leave at least a 1/2 inch gap or your lids will sink in due to the vacuum caused by the food cooling. It happens fast. I purchased these replacement lids since mind were wore out and they work perfectly. They seal the dish well (although I don't think it is leak proof). Amazingly enough, the lids are still made in the USA.

Item arrived promptly in good condition. Advertised as replacement lid for rectangular Pyrex 3 cup dishes. These lids are not meant for air tight storage because they do not fit snugly. There's no struggle to put them on. I knew that from the originals, which came with them.Another reviewer gave a good tip, which I used with success. The lids went through the dishwasher, including drying cycle. The result was a tight fitting seal. I don't have a dishwasher, so I put them in hot (not boiling water) for about 5 minutes. Then each lid was rinsed in the coldest water from the tap. I could tell immediately that it worked because the slight warp became flat and smooth.The end result: the lids fit well, maybe 20% tighter. I'll repeat the process on each cleaning. If you want a leak proof product, use the snap seal. These are good for leftovers meant to be used within 3-5 days.
