For me this works perfect for what I need in a 15" enclosure and I have 2. That said the carpet covering does seem to be optimized for less waste so looking very closely the cuts might be noticed. That does not matter in my application though and the solid construction and tuning frequency do matter. The only real issue I have is that the push terminal block is glued instead of screwed (one of them was press-fit) so might not be easily replaced with something better but does accept at least 14 ga. speaker wire which also works for me.

This build quality is horrendous. No idea how this made it through the simplest of quality control. Bought it as new but it looks like it’s been in someone’s basement for 10 years. I could make something better from scraps laying around in my workshop. Oh, not to mention that my speaker wouldn’t even fit in it.

Fits oversized competition woofers skar vxf 15. Tuned correctly! I just wished they had a 3.0 cubic feet box. My speaker calls for 3.2 , but speaker terminal post too small.. Good build nothing for me to cut or screw down front baffle is 1" thick..perfect.. Good price!

I paired this with a 15" Peavey Black Widow and drive it with a legitimate industrial amp. It's great. I also bought a cheap 400w, 120hz filter/crossover to cut the highs, and then covered it up with an official 15" Peavey grill (way thicker and more rigid than the cheap ones you usually see on Amazon - way worth the money). This thing hits hard. Compared it to a Seismic 12" powered sub (Baby Tremor), a Paradigm 12" sub, and a Dayton Audio 12" powered sub...of course this was the only passive sub, but it wins.This is not the toughest box ever built, but if you drill carefully it's gonna work great (recommend using clamped wood behind your intended drill holes of prevent breakout as the drill bit comes through). Have not detected distortion or rattles and played it pretty heavy.Looks great with the speaker and grill -- and mine I also added Peavey tags.
