The black netting to prevent seed scatter fits my tall cage. My birds have starting playing with the stars on the netting. So far it has held up, however, if the birds keep at it holes will be made. For now it's keeping the seeds and debris inside the cage and not all over my floor. Yay

I was worried it wouldn’t fit my cockatiel cage but it fits perfectly and only left an inch or two at the top, which is fine. I do have a double tall cage. The material itself is a mesh with little stars which I happen to think adds to the look. My lil guy hasn’t seemed to even notice or care about its existence, which is a good thing because he is easily spooked by introducing new items into his environment. I chose this not only as a way to keep the seeds and mess in, but also having had a few scares with his multiple windows being lifted and him getting loose, this takes all the worry away that one of my little humans is going to curiously open a door and let him out. An added benefit seems to be that my cat has lost interest in stalking him, maybe he had a harder time seeing thru the mesh, but it’s been nice not hearing terrified squawks when my fur baby enters the room! I’m overall very glad I chose this, it’s added benefits were not expected but greatly appreciated!

Not plain black. Has gold stars on it. This is sort of a sleeve so you pull up or down and leave it where you want it. Works but description is wrong.

The cover is beautiful. The ends are elastic and open so it fits both of my cages. One is tall and square and the other is tall and round. I love the stars! I thought my cocktail would tear it up but so far so good. I also like that it's not complete coverage so it's not bed time but he calms down.

I should have looked closer at the images.This is a very nice seed trap for my cage and fits perfectly.BUT the material is covered with tiny metallic stars that reflect - and my budgie will go after anything that reflects light.I could easily see him picking some off and chewing them.Don't want to take that risk - I'll keep looking for a plain material one.

This cute gauzy curtain is going to be helpful for the bird cage. Make sure you check the dimensions before you think about ordering. This will fit the small finch cage fine. It seemed well made and also will help prevent the messes from getting all over the place. At the time I ordered, it didn't seem like a bad price for what you get.
