I needed a 12mm inside star washer for mounting an Alpine 12mm pilot light. The ground for the pilot light used the 12mm panel nut to make the ground. I needed the right lock washer for a panel nut to make sure it would not come loose. These worked perfectly! And, now I have a full set of washers in my toolbox!

Very disappointed at low quality of these non-locking washers. The die used to punch these out forms points on one side of the washer, and only rounded bumps on the other side. The effect is a low friction surface that has less locking power than the nut with a flat washer. Perhaps these are intended for wood or nylon hardware, but these are a failure for their intended use in machinery.
