I am using these for closures for a pet rat cage and they work very well. I had read a review that said they don't close easily and I disagree! Work great and are just what I needed.

Very happy with it because I know it will not open accidentally, will hold keys securely.The only thing That would make it better FOR ME is if the release/opening tab was a bit wider or textured so my fingers wouldn't slip as much while trying to unhook my keys, the reason is because I work in factory maintenance and my hands are constantly oily/slippery.So if you don't have the same oily or slippery hand problem as I do then your gonna love this belt clip key chain.

I needed this for my puppy’s leash, as I needed something I could do one handed - I’m in a thumb spica cast. I had it two days, when i realized, that while I could open it with the trigger, it did not close on it’s own; I need to squeeze the claws together. I am so afraid that it is going to open up and fall off the harness. Didn’t seem worth the trouble of sending back. With all of the positive reviews, I was quite disappointed with my experience. I need to buy a different one.

good and heavy. good quality. suits my needs perfectly, which is to make decorative keychains out of them. In fact, theya re a little overkill for me (strength wise), but that is fine.

I purchased this product to make some horse reins with. I ordered 10 total. Only 2 are not going to be able to be used for reins. One of them does not close once opened. You have to close it manually and the other was machined incorrectly and the eyelet part is very loose. Besides that the other 8 are perfectly fine for what I want.

Perfect for attaching to keychain to clip keys to purse or backpack for easy access. I bought one of these probably about 5 years ago on eBay and loved it until the spring mechanism broke. Was so glad to find it here.
