I work for a small practice and do the billing. I recently decided to mail out statements until we get a better system in place. Without much research, I ordered from a big box office store. I tried to save a few bucks and foolishly ordered 500 envelopes that are not self-sealing. Boy, was I dumb! I created way more work for myself but felt stuck because I didn't want to waste them. So I used ALL 500 and had to use a sponge to seal them. No way I was licking all of them!I finally used those up and wised up and found these. Man, did I want to kick myself for not getting these to begin with! I felt so embarrassed for making such a silly decision before. Not only were these envelopes less expensive, but they are self-sealing and saved me so much time! Cue Cher's lyrics "If I could turn back time"!

I am an Office Manager at a commercial real estate firm and we use these envelopes in collaboration with YARDI for statements and invoices. These envelopes can be purchased from any big box office supply company however; Amazon's price for these envelopes are by-far the best deal you can get online. I know, I've done the research. These envelopes are made by Quality Park and the item number is #24559. There are other versions out there that "look" like the right product; however; you'll find that they won't work when you align the documents with the windows. I had to return a few other envelopes this way in order to learn what worked and what didn't. You can; however, purchase the NON-self sealing envelopes which are also made by Quality Park; item number #24550. The only difference is that these are gummed rather than self-sealing. Easy to use. Flaps are not stuck together like other brands. I believe they are made in the USA.

The quality of paper has gone down. The flaps are now a different cut than it used to be. For the premium price of this product that used to be a 5 star is now 3. Too expensive for this now unfortunately.

These envelopes are perfect for our check size, but they do not fit all checks, so you need to make sure this window fits your check!

The flap in the back is different than what I expected but they do close well and they are slightly more generous than the previous envelopes I used in the past. Which is nice because most of the time the printed address on the check would always not show fully in the window. In these they do.

Everything is fine, just the back glue isn’t sealable enough. You can stick it closed but it can be simply reopened without damage. So security is an issue
