These envelopes are surprisingly well constructed for the price. The thickness of the envelopes is perfect for mailing securely. Well packed in a cardboard box.

Overall very happy with these envelopes - that being said I add tape to each seam but I would do that for any envelope as I ship items long distances

Great envelopes. My post office constantly complained about the ones with the metal clasps. Now, no complaints. I stil tape the flap though.

Nice quality envelopes. Perfect for mailing my labels to my customers. I didn't use the adhesive as I always tape my packages shut, so I am not sure how well they adhere.

Wow! I just tried to seal three of these in a row (for the same single mailing) and the adhesive might as well not be there. I tried using progressively more moisture on the adhesive each time and by the third envelope I wet the adhesive on the flap so much that the envelope started to deteriorate, but the adhesive still would not stick. I will have to use tape and forget even tying to use the adhesive. Too bad I bought 250 of these.

I'm a writer regularly submitting stories in the 10-20 page range, so I wanted a light-weight envelope with no frills, and this fits the bill. Someone at the post office once told me that the envelopes with clasps tend to get caught in the mail-sorting machines, so I was specifically looking for envelopes without clasps (if you need to mail an envelope with a clasp, don't use it and tape over it, to streamline the envelope). These envelopes are sturdy enough I feel confident my stories will get there in one piece (and I know they do arrive intact).
