I'm a huge Trekkie and always have been since the original series began when I was a kid back in the day. This Starfleet Division badge is heavy weight metal with magnetic. I purchased this to go with the uniform that Captain Christopher Pike wears "Strange New Worlds". I don't wear costumes or dress up for Halloween but this year I'm doing a DJ even for Veterans for their Halloween Party. All of these Veterans are older veterans and for years they have been wanting me to dress up. The badge is fine quality and made to perfection. I showed it to an army buddy and he actually offered me $50 bucks. I showed him where I ordered it and how much and told him to go on line and buy his own. I love it. It's way better than what I expected or thought it would be.

I bought this badge to replace the chintzy one that came with a Star Trek Discovery uniform. This badge from QMx is the real deal: solid metal with a magnetic plate backing and a beautiful two-tone finish on the front, just like the badges on the show. The only difference I can discern versus the real props is that this badge has no rank dots engraved into it. If you were very handy with a CNC milling machine, you could probably rectify that for yourself, but honestly few will notice the omission. The magnetic backing is super strong; you will not have to worry about this badge falling off of even the thickest fabrics. I am very satisfied with this product. I want to wear it all the time, even when I'm not wearing my Discovery uniform.

The quality on this is very well done. The magnet will hold it to my leather vest with no problem, wore it for a whole day, without it, popping off or slipping out of place, would highly recommend.

So very impressed with QMx. Beautifully crafted and finished. Edges are pure and tight, bevels are clean and crisp. Metal feels weighty in your hand. Magnets are strong and will hold securely to any light and most medium fabrics. You can even see the difference between the brushed metal and clear metallic finish. I've pictured it next to the QMx command badge from Star Trek Beyond for comparison.If you're looking for a Star Trek command badge, you'd be a fool not to buy this.

Beautifully made badge. It’s truly accurate in appearance (a touch smaller than the show, but not by much), the quality of build is nearly perfect, and the magnets work great. I bought this to replace a pin badge for a costume that was floppy and it does the job perfectly.

Love the badge shipping was fast came in three business days, im pleased. Now note the picture, the large one is the badge the small is the lapel pin. I purchased the lapel pin by mistake thinking git was the badge which is easy to do so read carefully the fine print of description. This badge is metal and is light weight, it has brushed finish on raised side and polish finish on lower side. It has snap magnets on rear for easy fastening. BUT DOES NOT HAVE RANKING PIPS. IF this is what you expecting, this is not the product for you. Yes there are so. E out there BUT THEY DIFFERENCIATE DUE TO COPYRIGHT AND LICENSING MATTERS so shop wisely per the price. Otherwise I'm please. This is for collection and comicon

In terms of screen accuracy, this one is very close, lacking only the rank "pips" seen on the show; otherwise, I was very pleased by the look of the product. The balance of it does feel a little odd though since the backplate is significantly heavier than the badge itself, which is essentially hollow.My only real issue is one you may or may not run into. After a few uses, the backplate has begun to discolor, almost as if the plating is rubbing off. I should note this was with the plate in contact with bare skin. I suspect this would not be an issue if worn with a costume under-shirt.All in all, very pleased with the product.
