Perfect for what I was wanting it for, and so nice that it is so small to be stored, but then can be extended to such a long length!! Super versatile stick that can be used for whatever. Just make sure not to hit it against hard objects with too much force (my little child whacked it against a metal basketball goal and it dented the top pretty far in. Thankfully it still extends and condenses well enough, despite that)

Simple and works! No batteries needed. Fits in shirt pocket. Perfect for lectures.I teach college students computer programming. I use this pointer to point out and emphasize things on the projector screen better than using a mouse because the students see me walk to the screen and move my arms rather than look at their screens and try to listen while not looking.This pointer is also good for pointing to computer screens when helping students with their programs. I can point while standing behind the student and without taking over the student's mouse or keyboard.I recommend that you buy several of these just in case you lose it. I have one in my briefcase, one in my computer bag, and one in my drawer in my office. So far, I haven't lost one yet and I am getting good use of it during lectures and labs.

I never know when I might be tagged to conduct a presentation or a briefing as part of my job. Laser pointers work great, but they're pricey, not quite durable enough for military life, and the batteries always die at the worst possible time. This pointer is steel (I believe), requires no batteries, and clips to any pocket or uniform neatly. It's also extremely light-weight and has a very "professional" look. Works perfectly in the field or in a Command and Staff briefing. I'm very happy with it.

I had a stroke and when I read I read the same line over and over again not on purpose. That makes my upset and then I don't want to read anymore. Since I have the pointer it allows me to go to the next sentence faster that without it
