Quaternary Ammonium (QAC, Multi Quat) Sanitizer Plastic Test Strips, 0-1500 ppm

High Level QAC Plastic Test Strip that tests up to 1500ppm The High Level QAC Test Strip (Quaternary Ammonium Compounds) measures the range of 1-1500 ppm in increments of 200, 400, 750, 1000 and 1500 ppm, and gives results in just seconds. Check for higher levels of QAC when testing stronger solutions, as opposed to testing for residual QAC with our Low Level QAC test strip, or our standard QAC Quick Response Test Strip.
- Each pack comes in a Desiccant vial with flip-top lid, to insure accuracy of the strips

Tested a strip against a calculated solution of 400ppm and a 1400ppm. Both times the strip changed color to the perfect match on the chart. The 1400 was indeed a slightly lighter hue than the 1500 rating. Very impressed!

The instructions are very specific about the requirement to match the color of the test strip to the color patches on the bottle within 5 seconds. This makes the strips somewhat difficult to use.

Shows no ammonia always but when I used my API test kit had ammonia in the water. This is not reliable and could kill your fish.
