Typically, for my own bed, I purchase a higher TC Egyptian cotton. Over time, I have determined they have a better hand to the fabric when they are made correctly. However, I have a spare bedroom, and I did not want to put anything microfiber on it, but I did not want to put the expense of the sheets I sometimes buy for the master bed on a guest bed. Still, I want it a nice set of sheets for my guests. I decided to try what is considered the minimum for comfort, 400 TC, but it must be 100% cotton. With that said, I found these CGKs I'm writing about today.As usual, I washed the sheet set before use. They were not butter soft up on arrival, and I am not surprised. Not many actually do. Generally, the more washings, the more softness is found in the product.I want to say this sheet set is an incredible find. At 400 thread count, the quality, hand, and heft of the sheets are remarkable. They are not rough, meaning, you do not feel as if you're lying on a fine grade of sandpaper. I have used these sheets four times, thus five washings, and they have predictably become softer than when I initially opened them from the packaging. I know I can speak on this for I have slept on them myself.Three (3) points to make : (1) These sheets are not sateen. There is no unnatural finish of any sort, e.g. Ore-tek. The finish is very nice. (2) They are 100% cotton, and as such, they do wrinkle. Fold them right out of the dryer. In the attached picture, I have unfolded a once folded top sheet to take these pictures. Personally, I accept this natural occurrence of a natural fabric. Even sateen sheets have wrinkles when folded. Let's be realistic. I know there are people out there who iron their sheets for my mother is one of them. That is not in my job description haha. For me, wrinkles tend to fall off eventually. It is the feel of the fabric that is a concern for me. I use a spread or duvet, so my sheets are not the only covering I have when I make my bed. (3). The color is a deep navy blue. I apologize for what it appears to be in the picture, but I can assure you the camera did not capture the actual hue. It is richly dyed, and it is not a printed fabric.For my tastes, this manufacturer created the first 400 TC sheet set I've tried and can arrest to how it feels, and some time. It is the first I can crow about since the home shopping entity, Domestications, existed. They had some incredible and affordable 100% cotton sheet sets. BTW, They also carried Egyptian cotton, 400/500 TC sheets and bed in the bag sets I still own and use today. These are great sheets from CGK.

Review of CGK Sheets 100% Cotton, 400 Thread Count, Made in IndiaColor: Navy BlueFirst impression: ExcellentThe navy blue color is very, very attractive - rich, deep blue color.The feel of the sheets is smooth and my hand glides over them but not in the icky way microfiber sheets do (these are 100% cotton with 400 thread count.). The sheets are not coarse and are comfortably smooth with a nice thickness/weight. I expect them to soften with additional washings.After opening the zipped packaged, there was an unpleasant odor, not very strong but noticeable. After the first wash, the odor was gone.Machine wash warm water in gentle cycle with like colors.Dry with low heat.I really like the helpful labels on the fitted sheet that indicate the top and bottoms of the sheet.AFTER FIRST WASHThe sheets retained their color after the first wash. After drying them in low heat, the sheets looked like 100% cotton item looks after taking it out of the dryer - wrinkled. I would iron them if I cared about things like that.The odor upon opening the new package was no longer noticeable.The fitted sheet has deep pockets and fits perfectly over a 10-inch mattress and it would probably fit a taller mattress as well.A queen-size pillow easily fits into the pillowcase. An overfilled pillow might be a tight fit.The sheets, after the first wash, are not what I would call soft but they are not uncomfortable to the touch. I expect they will soften after a few more washes.I’m very pleased with the comfort, quality, fit, color, and texture of these sheets.Definitely would buy again.

These are very nice. There was a bad smell when first opened, but after washing, they were fine. The fitted sheet is a little snug, and I had to struggle to get it on. The pillow cases are snug as well. (I also purchased a king-size set, and the fit was fine, with no issues at all). Also, it comes out very wrinkled - not a big deal to me. Overall, it is a very nice, comfortable set.

Shockingly nice! As I opened these and felt the weight and silkiness of the fabric, i thought Amazon had sent me the wrong sheets! I immediately checked my Amazon account! These are great quality sheets for a great price. the color (light blue) was exactly as shown. It's awesome when a purchase wildly exceeds your expectations- this is one of those purchases! go get yours today!

These are great comfortable sheets! Not to be confused with their less expensive microfiber (polyester) sheets. These feature perfect 400 thread count combed cotton. You don't want TC to be too high or too low. These are just right and feel so soft on the skin. Great product for extra deep mattresses like mine.

Sheets arrived appeared like nice sheets they had a satin finish on them that felt high quality. After washing them new because they did have a bad smell the softness went away and they feel like wool (itchy) they are hot and not breathable at all. I put a three because I guess the price is good because the sheets fit the mattress and they are sheets. I would not buy them again.

These feel really nice and washed up great! I got them for 2 beds in the house that are different thickness but they fit both and look awesome.

La verdad dudé mucho antes de comprarlas, por las malas opiniones que vÃ, pero decidà tomar el riesgo, y me gustaron mucho. No son lo mejor de lo mejor, pero muy justas para su precio. Son suaves, frescas, y resistentes. Ya tengo 3 meses con ellas y siguen como nuevas.

We’ve bought this fitted sheet before.Bottom sheets take all of the wear and tear so replacing fitted sheets is a way of life for us.It looks good, feels good, wears well, and washes up nicely
