I’m a relatively small and weak individual so building this without a helping hand, while doable, could be a bit difficult so definitely take that into consideration. I built it with a friend and while it took us a bit to build, the instructions were easy enough to follow and the end result it amazing. It’s also heavy for me to change it from seating to bed by myself so I usually have someone help me with that, again I’m small and weak. But other than that awesome. The mattress is incredibly comfortable and soft. I would say that in seat form the mattress has a bit of an overhand over the edge of the futon seat, so don’t sit at the edge of it or you might find yourself slipping off. But in mattress form it’s the perfect size, so the seating overhang makes sense. I personally also like to prop a pillow against the armrest so I can rest against both it, the regular backrest, and then prop my legs up on the futon. Peak lounging comfort. It’s also super sturdy, the wood is solid and the under drawers are still rolling like new.But in short it looks AMAZING, has the most convenient armrest table things ever, the under drawers are incredibly practical and for this price it’s ridiculously affordable. Honestly I love it and it’s great.

Buy with confidence. This is a great futon. Assembly was made easy with the helpful online instruction video. The boxes arrived 6 days earlier then projected. The mattress is very comfortable and well built. The hinges inside the mattress make for easy position change, from couch to bed. The frame is good wood. The drawers are extremely helpful for extra storage. Overall this is a huge comfy futon, and worth every penny.

This is a great futon and definitely worth every penny. The only reason this is not 5 start review is because one on my pieces didn't have one of the holes for the screws all the way drilled out. And one of the holes you put the wooden cap into was too big... Luckily we were able to finish the job ourselves with scissors and glue! It took me and my husband about 2 hours to put together. Assembly a little confusing at first glance, but the website has a very helpful assembly video.Now that is all put together, I have to say it is extremely comfortable! Great back support and easy to move up and down.We bought non slip grip, a waterproof matress cover, and futon covers, to enhance the futon experience and everything is working out great. I highly recommend you buy this futon!

It was very easy to assemble with clear and concise instructions. It is very sturdy. I tightened the bolts and let the family use it for a week. I then went back and tightened everything again. I then capped the countersink where the bolt heads were located. We love the extra shelf at the arm rest and the drawers are an added benefit for storage. Great piece of furniture worth the extra effort of assembly.

I love the dark brown color of the wood along with it’s sturdiness and the ease of putting it together. The mattress is thick, heavy and very comfortable. I converted the extra bedroom into a sewing room and the futon fits with high back and in used it to replace the bed. I no longer need tray tables because of the ones that fold up. I love it. I love.

It looks nice but..,This is definitely a two person job.. especially for the first half of the project. Directions can be a Lil tricky but with patience everything falls into place. Do not lose any pieces, ie. Screws, pegs, etc. The futon mattress that comes with the set looks nice but it is kinda thin and VERY firm...This fact also causes the sofa feature hard to set into. Also, be careful not to scrape your wall setting your futon into the flat position.. pull it away from the wall 1st. Additionally, my futon came with NO DRAWERS!!!?!. I figured maybe they would come in a separate package the next day or so.. Well, so far nothing. I will wait a couple more days then if no drawers are never delivered I’ll see about contacting customer service. I dislike difficulty.. so on a scale of 1 to 10 I give this product a 5 for value, quality, and overall experience.

I couldn't put it together by myself. So my teenage grandkids did it for me. Looks great and I guess it's comfortable to sleep on.
