The quality is great. Just what I was looking for-the switch is totally sealed in a flexible rubber like material which should block all water intrusion-unlike others. It costs a bit more than others, but if you’ve ever had to manually pull up 100 ft of chain with a heavy anchor in the middle of a storm, you’ll be happy to have your windlass working. I am using it on a 40 ft. Sailboat. It’s also nice to have plenty of nice wire eliminating a splice to the solenoids.

I love the switches but, this is my third set of switches in 6 years. They have been underwater in heavy seas. This time I put life caulk around the rubber in the switch and properly around the thru deck hole so water can't get in. I also did a heat shrink seal on the wires. This is an easy fix that should keep me from having to replace them again.
