This is the most expensive carb insulator I'm aware of, but it's worth it. This is not just a nicely cut piece of aluminum. It's a unique aluminum-foam-aluminum sandwich constructed sheet that really deflects heat from your carb. Very nice. I highly recommend this of your having hot carb problems.

Had a hard time re-starting my ‘67 Camaro after it’s hot and gets left for a few minutes. Was super embarrassed by it as usually people are usually watching and would crank and crank before finally catching… Just installed this heat shield and took it for a rip. When I went to restart a few minutes later it took a fraction of the cranking! Super impressed so far! I mean, seems like a design flaw in the carb but this is a great workaround. Had to grind it down a bit to fit the vacuum line for the brakes but overall very happy with the fit and look of it. ðŸ‘

Seller is GREAT, good communication ... but this falls outside of their warranty offered.NOT HAPPY with this product, would NOT recommend to anybody. If you need an insulator, buy a one-piece ... where the resin won't come apart.Appreciate the seller pointing me to where I have to go for possible warranty.
