We use this quick release for washing windows. Since we only have one long pole for second-story windows, we have to switch between brush and squeegee for every window. This is a lot quicker than unscrewing the tools.

Although I have not actually used this item yet, I can tell that it will be a great addition to my arsenal of tools. It appears to be very well made from quite rugged materials with a strong positive-feeling locking mechanism.

Exactly what I was looking for. I had one before, and I can't find it at the stores anymore, so glad you had it. It makes it a lot easier to release the roller and get in hard to fit places. Thanks.
