When attach or remove the ring, please do not excessively open the ring to avoid deformation.

I have a number of different neck straps but I wanted something for a small camera that would be unobtrusive when I was wearing a suit. None of my straps, some quite expensive, met that need. I love this strap. I don't use the quick connects that came with it so I'm not commenting on those. But I may buy a second one of these just to have a spare in my drawer.Certainly worth the money.

I originally thought the green rope section would be longer than it actually was. The overall length in the description accounts for the black straps at the ends, which make up most of it. As long as you slap some Peak Design clips on there, those will double over and shorten, leaving you with a comfortable section of green rope in the strap. Overall, I like the strap a lot better than I thought I would.

My full size Canon camera with lens is a bit heavy to use a narrow neckstrap with, bt this is great for my stabilized hunting binocs.

I did not expect the rope section to be about half the entire length of the strap. If it didn't look an odd length I'd say it was more than cost cutting. The rope is fine but could be a better material or weave for rubbing against skin. This seems a good idea in theory.
