Got a vertical asset you need to make and you don't feel like using your arm strength to get up there? Foot ascender to the rescue. Holy Hector does this thing make it easy to climb up vertically unassisted when they're nowhere close to the tree. Easy to install solid mechanism that's on par with brand names that start with n and otherwise. This is thoroughly changed the game for me and my trimming career.

now that i have confessed that i can go on to say that despite that i am and will always be a climbing enthusiast and this little ascender has made life much easier when i can not use the tree spikes as they do to much damage to trees that are not coming down, so other means of getting up a tree without limbs was a struggle until i came across this and it has made it almost enjoyable to get way up a tree with a little chainsaw and do work. i only gave 4 stars because i found like others that my foot likes to come out of this, i put a very very little bit of bike chain dry lube only in the pivot spots and seemed to help this a noticeable amount.

This Foot ascender works great, exactly like it was designed too. It is very well-made, offers a great sense of security, knowing it will not fail. It is a great climbing accessory, if not a must have. I finally have one for each foot, and it makes ascending ropes possible, for diameters that would normally not be climbable by hand. In combination with the hand descenders, you can go up a rope faster, and easier than a ladder. With experience anyway. Very easy to use, and very inexpensive. Great product, highly recommended.

Works exactly as advertised and fits multiple diameters of rope. Anything from 8mm-12mm in my testing. Nice product
