I used this to quilt my eight year old daughter’s first quilt top. Of course the stakes felt higher versus quilting my own project. I found it easy to adapt this pattern to adjust width. In one narrow area, I did the “vibe†and eagerly other heart to keep the quilting density even. It did show up a little wonky; that was nothing an iron didn’t fix.

I used this on a quilt boarder then did some tiny loop and heart stipling in between which made the hearts stand out. Very cute. Tip. I used face powder and a soft brush to rub the powder into my fabric through the transfer pattern. I then drew the quilt from the back of the machine to the front so I was handling the part of the quilt that was already completed. Buy the time I finished hand sewing on the boarder most of the powder had rubbed off, yet it was still strong when I was machine sewing. If you don't want to get powder in your house, you can remove most of it with a vacuum once you finish your quilting.
