gotta have these strong rope thimbles for my river dock..very robust metal to give that extra secured rope connection and anti wear protection on the rope. Highly recommended.Update: good rope protection so ordered 2 more.

I put these on a synthetic rope and it worked great, haven't used it yet but if it fails it will be my weave not these thimbles, they seem stout.

I used one of these at the top of a swing that’s suspended from a branch about 30’ above the ground. I used 1/2†rope which was a snug fit getting through the holes but it did work. I connected a carabiner to that and the swing to the carabiner. It all worked great and should last a very long time!

What I did to be able to put it on. JBweld epoxy the end with the lug (brush on). After drying used a hack saw to cut. Used epoxy to cover the cut. When dry I bench grinder to shape smaller and bullet shape. I applied veggie grease at entry point and pushed it through. Pliers helped bring 18 inch through and put it back on return hole. Put in a figure 8 climber's knot in the rope and wrapped it with pond liner and clamped. Used dawn to wash off grease.
