This is a quality valve assembly but it would not fit the Baytec 55 gallon blue plastic water barrel that I recently purchased. The barrel has 12 threads per inch and this valve has 11 threads per inch. If you try to screw this into your Baytec barrel, you will totally ruin a $130 barrel. Luckily, when I couldn't get this valve started straight, I measured the threads on both items and found the difference. It may fit steel barrels and some other brand plastic barrels but not Baytec. Just throwing this out there so someone doesn't ruin their barrel.

comes with extra rubber rings for sealing if one goes ba you have a back up. works great

The description stated a 3/4 exit (AT Valve). But this is necked down to a 3/8 exit.It has ribes on it like a hose can be attached, which is nice, but I question the flow rate.I have not used it but there is no resistance when blowing through it.I will update this again once we put it to use. I am only filling up small jugs so it should be just fine.

The size fits, but will not screw into a plastic drum hole. Threads don’t mesh.

perfect for our bulk windshield washer fluid drum. we have it laying on it's side on a pallet and used this faucet to dispense. no more headaches of changing hand pumps that leak everywhere every few months.
