Sturdy, solid weight, it's of great quality, not flimsy, despite being reasonably priced. Stunning design, it looks so ornate and unique to dress up your door or whatever you choose it for! It works perfectly for our purpose which is as a door knocker. Zinc material works wonders in presenting a respectable size and finish. Not plastic.

I’m obsessed with this!! It worked perfect for what I wanted. The color is nice and matched our bronze door knob. It was super easy to install. It was very very affordable!! It’s definitely more of a decor piece and not as functional but that’s exactly what I wanted it for.

Beautifully crafted, not too heavy or too lightweight. A nice touch to my basic wood door. I used some heavy duty alien tape to adorn it to the door, not to need holes. It worked perfectly., which I was happy about thinking the weight could be an issue.

Overall, I'm happy with this door knocker. It is attractive, a good size and should be durable. The finish should last for years.Two things: 1) There is nothing for the 'knob'- knocker to hit, so it will mark up the door over time. 2) The 2 screws for installation must be inserted in a difficult spot. This is good because it pretty much hides the screws, but they are hard to install with the moveable knocker in the way. I tried to take it off, but was afraid I'd damage it- either scratching it or bending it, if I forced it any more than I was. I used my drill. If you pre-drill the holes and use a screwdriver, it would probably be easier.I have paneled doors, and this fit perfectly within one of the panels.I'm happy with this purchase and the end result.

The lion door knocker looks bright and shiny with the lower knocking bar not exactly aligned perfectly (just as it looks in the picture). To get to the two screws properly the door knocking bar was carefully bent (and with strength) at an angle and taken out. The lion head was screwed in the door. The knocking bar was then put back on and bent to look perfect or almost perfect and aligned. As long as you have a strong but patient installer or cover your tools so it won't get scratched when it's bent it should work. It does not have a plate the knocker hits. When someone knocks it will make directly contact with the door when used to knock (the description does not say it comes with a plate but some may want to know this). Overall we would say this looks beautiful.
