I bought these because I needed the length and the strength of them to brace a post building (pole barn) against the wind with crossed cables. I guess I didn't understand how beefy these things are. Go big or go home I guess.These are forged steel (unlike hardware store eye bolts which are simply steel bent to shape) and are unbelievably beefy. They are long enough to go thru a 6 x 6 post at a 45 degree angle. These are an incredible value and are guaranteed to survive the apocalypse.
