I like this type of rule for general measuring. It's easier than a tape measure in certain applications ie setting tests, building a cage for my blueberries so the birds don't eat them all. Worked great and they were affordable.

Very well made. Great value, easy to read. Clear markings folding joints are tight. I used one many years ago and these perform better than tape measures.

Well, what I did was break my yardstick and since they don’t give them out anymore like they used to I decided to get this Measuring stick. It’s good quality and certainly easier to store than a yardstick.

this ruler definitely isn't very sturdy, but functions just fine. I checked it against a trusted tape measure and the scale is true through 36-40", then skews by about 1/16 of an inch after that. The ruler is 2 sided, and this was consistent on both sides. These always serve as angle/estimation tools for me so it shouldn't be a big deal.In conclusion, it should be good enough for light/occasional use.

Like - it's foldable so packs down quite small. It's also much stiffer than a retractable tape measure, so better if you need to make horizontal measurements in mid-air. It's old school but it just works.It's also easier to measure distances longer than the ruler itself.Dislike - fragile (my toddler broke it, had to get another one, but that's my bad for leaving it where he could find it).Definitely think it's an essential home tool. So handy.

J'effectue quelques travaux de rénovation dans ma maison dont certains se trouvent dans un endroit trés exigu et comme je dois mesurer que d'une seule main donc le mètre extensible on oublie pour moi c'est le mètre dépliant de menuisier qui s'impose et je l'ai trouvé chez Amazon je suis trés satisfait
