Used for garage door opener, just installed and works very well. Positive click when pushing button. Green LED is too weak to see in daylight but somewhat noticeable in dark. Can't comment on longevity of switch, but a this price for 2 you have a backup if the first one fails

These worked great as replacements to our old buttons. They are solid and have a firm click when you push the button for the opener.

These little beauties are great. I'm not a fan of the green light color. But it does the desired job.Amazon shipping was painfully slow.

I had ordered 4 a couple years ago and one failed.So I ordered two more, and have one now as a spare. They shouldn't fail that quickly on a garage door opener.

I’m pretty sure this is a doorbell switch. I have a very simple switch in my garage interior that is broken. I replaced it with one of these and it worked fine, IF YOU ONLY WANT YOUR GARAGE DOOR TO GO IN ONE DIRECTION. I guess they give you two of these so you can rewire it and have separate switches for separate movement of the door. Very deceptive advertising.

This was easy-peasy to install. Four (4) total screws to mess with and you're done in just a few minutes (literally). The switch that I replaced did NOT have the LED light within it as this does; so, in a way I'm actually glad that it failed! It's nice to have the switch lit at night when I'm trying to locate the button in the dark! (REMEMBER to unplug your garage door opener before doing anything, btw!)
