This lab jack arrived with a fair amount of damage. Since it was packaged well, I can only assume it's a used/returned item. The top surface is obviously scratched, paint is peeling in several areas, and one corner is also dented. Despite the condition it's in, it seems sturdy enough for what I need and it reaches the advertised 18" in height. The damage is largely cosmetic and the jack suits my needs, plus it was about $10 cheaper than similar ones, so I'll keep it instead of returning it. If you need something that looks "nice", you'll probably need to look elsewhere and pay more.
