These third hands and a nice value for the price and they are made well. I am using this for 1oz. Pieces and they work nicely. The wooden grips insulate against heat very well while performing light-duty soldering for jewelry.

I got this tool for making jewelry out of beach treasures (shells, agates, tiny driftwoods) it is sturdy and well made I can’t use it on some of the more delicate pieces but I can use it to hold the various findings so it is still helpful with small or delicate projects
