I was finding that most of the supplies sent with diamond painting kits were a bit sub-par, especially the glue. I bought this to have some extras, and I've wound up using it with each kit I get. The pens themselves are the same that you would get with a kit, but it's nice to have extras. The trays are definitely convenient - I don't have to swap out for each color anymore.

Had to order extra pens as the 2 kits I have done only had one pen. The pen heads wear out and won’t pick up diamonds half way through. The pens I ordered here seem to last a bit longer. Get ready to order extra kits if you plan on doing any of the diamond art projects!
