30 Series Go Kart Torque Converter

30-series torque converter
Torque converter has two pulleys: driving and driver pulley. The torque converter allows you to change the gear ratio. It can remain disabled while the engine is idling. It turns on only when the engine reaches more than 1500 RPM retains 80% efficiency. It provides low torque.

This is the second centrifugal clutch that I have had with bearings and it is extremely noisy. Good concept, but the part is junk.

Many people have good luck with these units, but they are essentially consumables. I put an average of 50-75 miles a week on my bike and before switching to genuine Comet parts, got 3-5 weeks of life out of these units. If you ride long trails, race, or commute, use the brand name parts. This unit will be ok for a backyard badger or child’s bike. Not anything serious

This clutch makes so much noise and the gap between the belt and the clutch is insanely huge when you give it throttle it slams jerking everything very dangerous and not fun to ride
