I had bought an extended hose for easier access to the low side nozzle. The connector that comes with that hose doesn't fit so I bought this. It connected to my extended hose and fit the nozzle well. It also has and on and off valve that you can connect it in the off position and then open the valve. It worked great!

I purchased the two valves to save money. I have a high quality manifold with liquid filled gauges. But I needed to work on my car which is R-134 and utilizes a different connection method. So instead of getting a new gadget set costing around $100 I was able to spend around $10 for the set. They have the quick connection for the auto side and the quater inch male flare. This makes it easy to use my older gauge set to the R-134a system. Plus I saved the $90 because I didn't need to get a new gadget set.I will put the dislike first. It is minor and not related to its functional ability. The outside finish is ruff to the touch. The edges are a little sharper. But with the cost of everything going up I decided to save money.The good is they worked and they didn't leak. Of course only time will tell how good they will be.I

Fitting them on the connector isn't really easy, but when you get it on there, it doesn't late. For the money I'm happy.
