It’s not cheaply made and it’s not over the top made. I bought for vacuuming AC mini splits I bought on Amazon. All I needed was the adapter but it was cheap enough to get the gauges and hoses in one kit. They don’t sell any of this kind of stuff at the big box stores. But amazon had next day delivery. If I were a pro I would not buy this to diagnose. It will vacuum, leak test, fill and that’s it. You can’t diag correctly only seeing half the story.

Mini split with a flare leaking, all my bad during install. Trimmed copper lines, re-flared and needed to add Freon. Ordered this product just for that reason. Truth, it worked exactly the way I needed it to.Used this to connect to a 25lb Tank no problems. With the included adapter was able to connect to the Mini Split and add Freon. Everything I needed was included. Very happy with my purchase for now!

I can't speak to the accuracy of the unit but it works great for doing DIY mini-split installs. What I'd really like to see in some of these gauges is a slightly larger percentage of the gauge dedicated to vacuum. (Though, that's just how all these gauges are manufactured anyway - it may be a limitation of the gauge's measuring capability.) Otherwise it worked great. I like to keep my mini-split gauge and my automotive gauges separate as to not contaminate either one. Mini-split systems don't have a high-side connection so there's no need for two gauges - just the low side (to see if it's vacuumed down during install, or to see if pressure is close to what it should be.) Only way to make this better is to have the larger mini-split adapter with it.

Missing instructions on how to use let to mistake in connecting the hoses incorrectly. That was quite a scare. Other than that it worked well.
