Excuse the mess but we are redoing this bedroom. It had these mirrored closet doors that looked so “80sâ€. Googled ideas and saw this cling film. It is sooo pretty. So easy to apply. We just did it so I will see how it clings and revise review if I have anything to add. I found it easier to cut it slightly bigger and then trim on the glass with a sharp razor knife with a straight edge. It cuts easily and left a perfect edge.

Posting now since it’s been a year since I put the film up. PROS: It’s pretty easy to put up, and easy to shift into place (I used a wetting agent I bought but they say water works great?). I bought the matt finish; it looks very pretty, neat and clean from the inside, and looks like actual blinds from the outside. A big plus is that it’s complete privacy; 100% private during the day, and when it’s dark outside (and the rooms lit up) it acts like a prefabbed privacy window, being able to see only shapes & shadows but no inside details. CON: started lifting along the edges after being on a year (possibly sooner since I don’t go into that room often). I’d buy again since it’s a good value, but would really only consider it for rooms that aren’t in the forefront of the home or spaces less utilized.

My office has a half moon window and is East facing so the temperature even with blinds was so much hotter than the rest of the house. This film instantly dropped the temp and block’s enough of the light to make it pleasant. The design mimics the blinds so it doesn’t stand out when looking in from the street. Easy to install. Highly recommend!

I live in an older home that still has older style windows. I didn’t like the previous window clings that I tried and they also eventually fell off of the bedroom windows. This style provides 2-way privacy but allows ample natural light into the room while giving a realistic blinds look on both sides of the windows. I am glad that I purchased and will buy more to cover the bathroom and bedroom windows. This cling is also a thicker and higher quality film. For extra support we used utility tape along the edges of all 4 sides so there wouldn’t be any oopsies like we had with the previous film from a different company. I really love the style of this window film and the amount of natural light that still comes into the warm. Highly recommend.

I had two rooms that I wanted frosted glass doors on, but those are CRAZY expensive to buy. So I found two doors online, cheap, and ordered this vertical striping film. I've used Rabittgoo products before, so I know how good it is. The vertical stripes on this made it VERY easy to cut to the correct width, I just followed the line all the way down the film. The Rabittgoo film is heavier than a lot of films, which is a huge plus - it doesn't get crinkled up, doesn't tear, really makes applying it easier.Couldn't be happier with how these doors turned out!! I've had friends tell me they look like they were professionally done, the stripes are just the modern, clean look I was going for. Some installation tips, having done this a LOT before:* I've done this with a card to push the air bubbles out, and I've done it with a squeegee - GET THEE A SQUEEGEE!! It makes pushing the air bubbles out absolutely effortless. Done and done, in 1/16th the time of any other method. Also, when pushing out the air bubbles, they are serious about spraying the film down with the soapy water solution first, once you have it applied - makes moving the squeegee over the film much, much easier. When done, just wipe the whole thing down.* The video demo shows the guy using a tiny little handheld straight edge to make the cuts. The type of straight edge you use makes a difference - you don't want something too thick, or it gets in the way of getting a good cut. Too thin, and you can't hold it in place well enough - you really must snug it up tight against the edge of the window to get a good cut. A thin metal ruler is JUST RIGHT. If you use a plastic one, and are using a sharp knife like you should, it can cut into the plastic instead of skimming the edge to make the cut.* Use a NEW, sharp blade and be prepared to change the blade out during the process if necessary - can't emphasize this enough - it needs to be SHARP. Otherwise it'll get snagged up in the plastic and you'll be cursing for the mess you've made.* RESIST the urge to ever pull a piece off, if you're cutting it and there's a little straggling piece. Lay your straight edge back down and cut it that way. Pulling can result in holes in the piece you don't want.* WATCH THE DEMO online about how to install these. On the corners, when it's time to remove the film, I strongly recommend two little pieces of duct tape. They just say to use tape, but the type of tape matters. You need something strong enough to adhere to the plastic, but then easy enough to peel off when you're done.* Finally, the soapy water is your friend in this process - don't scrimp on that. Apply it liberally to a clean window, liberally to the film you're about to apply, liberally to the film once applied, so it's easier to push the air bubbles out.
