I bought this and thought it would work without having to cut my D rings off my helmet, but it doesn't. You have to cut the D rings off in order for it to work. Also the American helmet straps are wider that the size of this product.

Didn't work on any of the 3 helmets I have. But I love the idea and would recommend if it fits your strap type

The buckles itself is the same size as the straps on my full size modular adult motorcycle helmet, therefore it does not fit as described! This might fit the straps on a child's helmet, but definitely does not fit one for an adult.
