It did the job and got rid of my ground 60 hz hum, but it introduced a "overdriving" peaking sort of crackle into the mix. I'm still trying to sort it out.

use this nifty piece so isolate a DEQ2496 in my audio rack reguarding a amatuer radio station which makes it prone to RF. This is a great remedy, I use one channel before and one after to isolate it. Never a RE problem, great products! W9RAC

I used this to kill a ground loop from a preamp 100 feet away to an input of another stereo on an entirely different breaker panel. It hummed pretty bad and was aggravating. After trying to use a power conditioner to the second stereo wasnt the source problem. The ground lift button killed the hum dead. Total clarity . And colourless sound . Unit is in fact built like a tank and worth every penny. .
