The part is no name brand but was working as expected. It also got fried as a result of other issues with rest of the cooling system.Whenever I begin to question Volvo's wisdom the situation proves me wrong. Volvo is not selling this part separately but only as a part of fan assembly - and for a reason. Faulty control module usually masks bigger problem(s) as they were the main reason for control module to fail.In my case it was broken fan motor which lead to overuse of another motor which fired the control module over time. Replacing control module fixed the issue for short amount of time but eventually new control module failed as well.Ordered full assembly, as Volvo suggests, and that fixed the issue.

worked for 6 months and then failed on me which it then caused my fan to not shut off which then killed my battery. I would like a refund at least for this part I paid for.

Not bad but I needed one for my x type with 4 pins. This one makes the fans go out of sync. My car overheated both fans work if you have the AC off. Other than that I have to check my water and make sure the engine isnt hot. I have an 07 jag and maybe I'll stick to making sure the module comes with 4 pins.

取り付け後1日で通電しなくなりました。全く話にならないほど耐久性が低い不良品です。追伸で画像上げます。後日分解しましたショート等の痕跡もなく問題無さそうに見えましたが、中から謎の部品が落ちてきました。回路が脱落したのか異物が混入したのか分かりませんが、恐らくこれが原因でしょう。当たり外れがありそうです。
