The RadioMaster RP series of receivers are designed with size, ease of use and range in mind. Utilizing ExpressLRS 2.4ghz Open-source firmware the RP series of nano receivers deliver features and range today's pilots have come to expect.
Developed around the ESP8285 MCU and SX1280IMLTRT RF Chip the RP series offer Lora and FLRC 2.4ghz RF links offering incredible range and low latency. With Wifi built-in FW updates can be done on your craft without the need to remove the receiver. Binding can be done using a bind phrase meaning no more bind plugs or fiddly button presses while trying to plug in your battery.
The RP3 receiver features a Skyworks SE2431L providing an LNA for improved receiver performance, a PA providing up to 100mW of telemetry performance and antenna switching for antenna diversity.

Any time I need a receiver to connect to a CRSF or SBUS flight controller / gyro this is the one I use. Very easy to use and setup. Simply leave it powered on without connecting to it for 1 minute and it enters WiFi mode where you can connect to it with a browser and configure everything you need.

Radiomaster. Tried and true. This was the first receiver I ever installed, and if a beginner like me can do it, you can too. Just remember RX/TX and TX/RX. They get criss crossed. Soldering RX/RX and TX/TX will result in a failure!

Antenna came in unattached from the board, typically this wouldn’t be a big deal as you could just pop it back on. I realized after not being able to get the antenna to go back on that they are NOT replaceable. So if you need the antenna to come off in order to install in to your quadcopter like me, these won’t work. It should be stated some where clearly that these antennas do not come off and that’s why I’ve personally deducted 2 stars. If I’d have known this I’d have purchased a different variant of this item since my install requires the antennas to be off any way. It seems to be a good product (visually I never got to try it) but having antennas that can’t be replaced after crashes is a no go for me.

This thing is perfect. It’s in a UAV I am making. Connected to a SpeedyBee F405 APP. Just flawless. Easy to connect and configure. Paired with a TS16S.
