I ordered these wheels as a retrofit for my pneumatic sidekick kayak wheel system. They are so much easier to deploy and retrieve while on the water. Love them. RINO JOE has a video of how they work.

There are many reviews on this product so I will get right to the point. I found these great for what they are designed to do. I would definitely buy these again but probably will never have to. The are plastic for sure. But this plastic is heavy where it needs to be, resilient, very strong and I expect them to most likely last longer than I do.

I use when loading my kayak at a boat ramp, makes for easier deployment of the landing gear.

Great wheels, replaced the wheels on my native sidekick. Lot easier to deploy in the water with no air.

Wanted a pair of these for my kayak conversion, but my axles are 1/2" and the bore in these wheels is 1". What's a guy to do?I found and bought these and my new wheels will work on the 1/2" axles! Using these bushings will allow you to use a 1/2" axle, a 5/8" axle, or a 3/4" axle with these wheels. The bushings are stainless steel, and it takes three sets to do two wheels. The bushings are 1" in length, and the bore in the wheels is 3" long. You'll also need four 2" stainless steel fender washers to hold the bushings in place. In my application, I'm using 6" stainless steel axles. Here are pictures of the complete wheel assemblies. I'll post pictures when the custom frame for supporting the folding arms that hold the wheels is done. Here's the link to the bushings, and a link to the 6" stainless steel bolts (the most reasonable Amazon price for the bolts, and you get the hardware to go with them):https://www.amazon.com/dp/B094R6PQ9H?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B097T1PHCR?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Prior to buying these, we had the inflatable, older version offered by C-Tug. They were OK, but the stem for inflating them was seated pretty shallow in the rim and hard to get to. The wheels themselves were bulky and did not stow very easy when you want to stow your CTUG for use at the other end of your trip. These new Railblaza wheels fit our existing C-Tug axels, roll over any surface with ease, are lightweight, less bulky than the inflatable ones and easy to stow away on your kayak along with the C-Tug itself which breaks down and is also very stow-able.

Had a problem with the correct part number on Amazon. Contacted the manufacturer and they corrected everything immediately.

I modified a Seamule Beach Cart for use in my hull cleaning business. The C-Tug wheels were a crucial part of that modification and have met and even exceeded my expectations.
