Waist of money! Went out for a beer run last night after it just finished raining. All excited to try out my new gators...got to 7-11 while walking in the store first thing I noticed while walking they wanted to keep sliding down my leg. I got home (5 mins round trip) and my pants and boots were wet like I didn't even have them on.:((( 👎ðŸ¿

GOOD SELLING AD.. SUCKERED once again!! They seem like very CHEAP man-made plastic or something?? First time use was in a HEAVY Down poor.. from the ankles up, my legs remained DRY BUT that was probably because my Rain Suit Pants were underneath these Gators...from the ankles down, the toes of my boots were SOAKED.. not sure how the rain managed to get through, probably because of the REALLY CHEAP material.. NEXT time I'll just spend MORE $$$ for a better quality product... I guess the old adage "You get what you pay for" is TRUE!!

good idea indeed.I was awared that this product is not waterproof and bought it hoping to fix it by adding one more waterproof layer inside as construction is not bad (still in progress.).Anyway: whoever is going to buy it to save his shoes be awared that it's probably not your choise.

I purchased these for a friend that rides and she was very pleased with the gators. They work very well when the rain is light and the road is wet allready and keep your pants legs dry. She wanted them to wear in these situations where it would be and easy on and off, rather than having to take the time to put on a full rainsuit. Plus in hot weather,the gators were a whole lot cooler than a full rain suit would have been. She was pleased ,they work exactly as she had expected and were delivered promptly and in excellent condition.

What a disappointment. Not at all waterproof! My legs and boots were as wet as if hadn't been wearing them at all. They're only saving grace was that they stayed in place and were reasonably comfortable both on and off the bike. Because of that I plan to spray them with waterproofing and give them one last try before I throw them away.

Stitching came apart after my husband wore them 2 times which created a hole towards the bottom of the item

Didn't like the design. There was too much material and velcro to keep up with. A zipped up version with velcro for secure fit would've been a lot better. Also didn't like the "cheap" toe sole--it should've been more "rubbery" for gripping sake instead of the hard plastic feel.
