Easily tunable, sounds great, the image and colors are sooo cute. Great build, easy to play. The booklet of songs is written clear and well, so helpful, and easy to teach! They sound so good and get little hands comfortable with holding the guitar and listening to the way it should sound.

I love this sweet little guitar! It's the perfect little size. It even comes with a guitar strap and extra strings! Theres also a music book and an instruction manuel on how to change the string and set the tuner key. Excellent price! Made of wood! Beautiful colors! Lightweight and easy to handle!

I bought this for my 6.5 year old daughter. She loves music and I thought it could give her a taste of learning to play guitar. It’s well made and adorable. The booklet that comes with it is phenomenal. It’s simple enough for a child (maybe not as young as 3-4, but gives a kid the ability to easily learn songs they’re familiar with. She eventually asked to take “real†guitar lessons and has had great success. The TinkerTar gave her a solid foundation to begin with and was a great investment to see if learning the guitar was truly something she had a desire for.

This was a Christmas gift for my 6 year old grandson. He told me it was one of his top three gifts. We recently video chatted and he played me a tune he had written! I also ordered one for his 5 year old sister. There's no verdict on that one yet. I do recommend this single-string guitar for kids. Uncomplicated musical instrument that can pique their interest.

I'm a music teacher and I endorse this instrument 100%. It has a real guitar string made of nylon that can be replaced when it wears out, it has kid friendly tabs that come in a cute booklet and you're not limited to playing one octave in a major key- all the half steps are marked. Absolutely perfect for children to improvise on so that they can get a feel for the instrument and get comfortable playing guitar. Love it so much!!!

I purchased this for my little cousin. I was familiar with Rockbridge Guitars because they started in my hometown. It’s a great little instrument. My 4 year old cousin wasn’t overwhelmed and learned quickly how to depress the string and choose different colors to make different sounds. He was thrilled. His father helped him and he even played it for a while!You do need to adjust the string and even tighten the screw on the nut to tighten. No big deal. You do need to tune it occasionally. It’s super cute and a lot of fun. Great first instrument that doesn’t overwhelm a child.There are YouTube videos and more song info on the internet. Bravo Rockbridge Guitars!

Pretty well made product but 3+ might be a stretch, not many 3 year olds can wrap their hands around the neck to play notes. Bought for 4yo nephew and he can’t quite do it but still a great product and one he’ll be able to grow with and learn.

For a child, a half decent ukulele is way better way to go. I like the book but as an instrument, It’s rubbish and way overpriced.

What a great idea! We bought this for our 3yo daughter, but my husband has been getting some use out of it too. Out string keeps going out of tune but there are instructions for tightening a screw so that it will stop.
