This circuit board and sensor work very well, easily sensing the presence/absence of all sorts of liquids, including water, 3D resins, oils, etc. I'm using this to detect resin tank level for a 3D printer, and it senses the presence of hot and cold resin 100% reliably.Definitely recommended if you have a need for something like this.

Item was used and repackaged in a ziploc bag. LED lit up but circuit did not react to any change in moisture. Package did not contain a circuit diagram or instructions. WORTHLESS.

I changed my rating from 5 stars to 4. The reason is they change the design of the sensor grid. The latest one I received does not look like what is shown on the website. The new sensor has a grid on both sides. This is a design mistake the grid should only be on one side the circuit board. I was able to fix this by cutting the traces on one side of the sensor. Otherwise the unit works just fine.Working perfectly. Allowed me to monitor a lawn sprinkler to verify it was coming on. Recommend you put a little electrical grease on any electrical connections exposed to rain. Very happy with this device.

The relay is set for normal closed when there is no rain and switches to open when it is raining. I had 4 to that would not work at all and 2 that worked as described. Seems back words to me.

Switch doesn't work. Relay does not let voltage through either open or closed.
