I bought a cheaper brand at first and ended up sending them all back. THIS one is excellent quality. Sturdy and will last a long time. Cost a little bit more but definitely worth the extra bucks. Recommend yes.

I needed 5 different rack drawers of various sizes for a couple large rolling ATA racks that I was outfitting for a portable church. These drawers from Raising Electronics fit the bill, as they were budget friendly. They are of very nice quality and are sturdy. The one thing I greatly dislike, though, is that the drawer slides used do not allow the drawer to be slid out fully, so you end up with about 4 inches or more at the back of the drawer that you can't access easily. If you're just storing things in them loosely that might not be a major issue, but I had custom foam inserts made to snugly accommodate wireless microphones and in ear monitor packs. This meant that I wound up with inaccessible space in the back of each drawer. That's my reason for docking one star. It is also an annoyance that you can't remove the key from the lock when the lock is disengaged. Personally, I didn't need locks on them at all since they are in locked road cases, so it would have been nice to be able to remove the keys from the lock and leave the drawers unlocked. They already have friction stops that hold the drawers closed, so leaving them unlocked isn't an issue. I ended up just removing the lock tab inside the drawer with a screwdriver so I could then turn the key to the locked position and take the key out with the drawers still being unlocked.

These drawers are built strong. Touch better then the rest. I own 7 of these of all sizes. These are not flimsy cheap built...highly recommend. Rjrox Ron Renner

I already bought two of these drawers and I must say throughout the past 4 years that I’ve had them they’ve been very sturdy and reliable for me. Handles may loosen through time but you can always tighten them up when that happens. Overall a great product for a better value.

I have two of these for my 42U rack but they've both come damaged in the corners which requires some extra work to repair and make it useable. My suggestion is to improve packaging to prevent damage while in transit.Overall, the drawers are affordable and decently built for home use.

This drawer is working quite nicely in it's new home. I needed a 3u unit to finish up my road case/workbox. This filled the need very well.

I used these for a 72u server rack for extra hardware the 3 PC's only use 12u, the rest is for storage/display stand/and keyboard/mouse shelf. I love these things! They are incredibly handy. Build quality is phenomenal. I put a ton of weight on these things and they don't warp or buckle at all.I just bought another 4 (3 of the 4u and 1 3u) for 2 new cabinets (9u and 15u) going in my living room. I have a 18 month old who loves anything with buttons. I can get one of my gaming PC's in the rack and use all the lockable drawers for things like Xbox controllers, remote controls, headphones, and anything else you don't want him to get at and break. The 3u is specifically for small cables/USB dongles/microsd cards/and little stuff that constantly gets lost. These are a great value storage item! I would recommend them to anyone! Take it from the guy that owns 12 of them now.

Very easy to install, very robust and very good value for money. Used for a while now and had no issues. Lock seems secure although I don't need to lock it as such.

As stated, the drawer is very well built and slotted straight into the bottom of my home made server rack. My only slight point with it is more of an observation than a problem; the drawer is mounted into a sort of open box frame at the bottom. If on the floor, any weight at the top of the unit presses down impedes opening. Also, the lock is not an enclosed system so can be blocked by drawer contents.Unlike other units like this that I have bought, the mounting holes are in strong metal with no sign of flexing.
