The RAM-B-309-1U attaches to your motorcycle's handlebar clutch/brake clamp and features one B size 1" rubber ball. The base fits the control clamps on your motorcycle with 40mm x 6mm stainless steel hardware, provided in the kit. To see if the RAM-B-309-1U base is compatible with your motorcycle, check the hole spacing of the base against your clutch/brake reservoir. The hole centers have a minimum width of 0.94" and a maximum of 1.58".

Don’t let this installation intimidate you. It’s the most sturdy, secure connection you can make. All you do is remove the two screws one at a time from your reservoir while holding it in place right where it is, then find the right bolts from the included replacement bolts and reattach with the ball mount in place. Tighten well, enjoy. Allen wrench screws which are to me much more secure and don’t strip easily. But don’t use a cheap Allen wrench that will crumble under use because the original screws are in there very tight. Just be patient and have a well fitting Allen wrench with sharp corners on it. I bought this because there weren't many options that would work well with my Continental GT 650's factory clip ons. This was easy to install and works perfectly for mounting my phone with a ram mount arm. The best thing about it is when you're not using it for holding your phone or GPS, it doesn't stick out and ruin the look of your bike

Solid mount but the bolts that came with it didnt work with my crf 125f clutch mount. had to use some other bolts that came with my seat strap. lined up great though worked just fine.

This mounted up ok and feels solid, after I went to the hardware store and bought some stainless washers and zinc plated steel bushings that fit the size needed. I used the 1/2" L X 1/4" ID steel bushings backed up with some #12 stainless steel washers that I put under the lock washer at the screw head and on the other side of the mount body for the steel bushing to press against. The holes in the mount body are a sloppy fit for the supplied screw head and lock washers. The supplied plastic bushings don't properly fit the OEM handle bar clamp or the Ram Mount screw holes. The steel bushing I bought was the same OD as the OEM screw head that held the master cylinder to the handlebar. That made a perfect fit to the handlebar clamp so a washer etc. was not needed at that end. Bottom line, it will do the job nicely, just needs a little extra in the hardware department.

Easy to install, comes with a variety of bolt sizes. Took me 5 minutes or less to install and worked with my existing Ram phone bracket.

Fitted easily to Honda Goldwing GL1500. The mount comes with three different types of bolt. Fitting it is just a question of removing one existing bolt from your clutch mounting assembly and using it to determine which set of bolts to use. Then just fit it over the existing clamp (as in my picture) or in place of the existing clamp, depending on the length of the original bolts. Took me about 60 seconds.The mount is extremely solid, fairly unobtrusive and I see no reason it won't last the life of the bike.I used Sportouring as the seller through Amazon. Delivery took exactly 7 days, the item was sensibly packed.
