These are great shocks. They come with a lifetime warranty. I live on a dirt road but have a 30 minute mostly highway commute each day. I also take my 98 TJ just about anywhere in western Colorado. I've done a few trails with these shocks and love the adjustability. It's winter right now and I have the shocks a little firmer to accommodate the 350 pounds of sand bags in the Jeep. Bottom line great shocks for on and off road!

I bought 4 shocks for my Jeep Wrangler TJ and 3 were bad: 2 never, ever expanded and one had a dead spot that wouldn’t go away even after cycling it over 30 times. I sent them all back and the two rears came first, both were good. The two fronts took a month to arrive and one had two dents in the body. Sent that back. I’ll get its replacement at 4WP where I can inspect it before I leave-not worth the $15 savings.

I used these to replace my Ranch RS5000s which was by far the worst and stiffest riding shock I've ever owned. These made a huge difference. By the way, I own a 2005 LJ rubicon which is relatively light.I started on setting 5 and quickly worked down to the softest setting (setting 1). I can actually drive my jeep now!On the negative side, the paint job is horrible. It looks like Ranch is paying a 12 year old 2 bucks an hour to put a quick coat of rustoleum on these things. The forums, including some Ranch reps, recommend a couple of coats of clear coat which I did. If you don't do this, especially if you live where the roads are salted, these things will be rusting in a year.I also saw a you tube video where a guy was complaining of the adjustable valves rusting up after 2-3 years. He pulled the adjustment knobs off and applied some marine grease down in the cavities so I did the same. I was shocked (pun intended) to find rust already inside even though these shocks had never been installed. I highly recommend this in addition to the painting.Lastly, the debate around boots on or boots off. When I removed the RS5000s, which did have the boots, I noticed that the shafts were clean. Therefore I decided to go back with the boots. If you don't care for the red there are other colors available for ordering. In summary, significantly improved ride but some quality issues that need to be addressed before install.

Great shocks for the TJ. I’ve had bilsteins 5100 and fox 2.0s and these are miles above both. Obviously they aren’t perfect like some pro tuned fox reservoirs could be, but for off the shelf they are fantastic. I run two front and rear on a currie 4” lift. Pretty heavy jeep with hardtop. Probably tune the rear down to 1 with the soft top.

Purchased 2 of these shocks for jeep TJ for rear shocks and 2 rs999255 for front.... and in less than 2000 miles one of them on the rear is leaking. Tried to call and contact Amazon and thru them the manufacturer/supplier but unable to get in touch with anyone for a so called Lifetime Warranty.

I have these on my 98 Jeep Wrangler, and they are fantastic. I have them set very soft but not all the way on the soft side. They are comfy but aren't so squishy that you can't feel the road. Overall, i'm glad I chose these shocks.
